A baby factory has been discovered in Isolo Local Council Development Area, Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, of Lagos, with two pregnant girls freed by the police.
Hakeem Odumosu, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, disclosed this during a parade of suspects at the Police Command Headquarters in Ikeja. He said the suspect was arrested following a tip-off.
The baby factory is operated by a woman identified as Augustina Onyenwe . The sexagenarian is now in the custody of the Lagos Police Command.
The police commissioner disclosed that two pregnant women were rescued at the factory following the arrest.
It was alleged that Mrs Onyenwe kept young pregnant ladies at the location till they were delivered of their babies.

Odumosu said: “A police team acted on the information given and stormed the address, where we rescued two heavily pregnant girls.
“The suspect has made a confessional statement to that effect.”
Odumosu added that the victims, aged 32 and 20 respectively, are in protective custody while the suspect will be charged to court as soon as possible.
