President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to address important issues in the bilateral relationship between Nigeria and the UAE.
The President’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, confirmed that Tinubu would be meeting with UAE leadership to resolve the visa ban imposed on Nigeria and other diplomatic disputes.
The UAE had imposed the visa ban in October 2022, along with suspending flights to Nigeria. Nigerian carrier, Air Peace, also suspended its flights to Dubai due to the visa ban.
Tinubu had previously directed that these issues be resolved during a meeting with the UAE Ambassador to Nigeria.
