Barbadian singer Robyn Rihanna Fenty, known by her stage name Rihanna, is now worth $1.7 billion according to Forbes.
This makes her the wealthiest female musician in the world and second only to Oprah Winfrey as the richest female entertainer.

Although the ‘Umbrella’ singer has had a very successful music career to date, the bulk of her fortune comes from the value of her beauty brand, Fenty Beuty. The singer owns 50 per cent of the $2.8bn company.
She also has stakes in lingerie company, Savage x Fenty, worth an estimated $270 million.
The grammy-winning artist has also featured in many successful movies and earns money from her chart-topping albums.
Fenty Beauty is a 50-50 joint venture with French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH. Its products come in a diverse range of colors and are modelled in its advertising by an equally diverse group of people.

Meanwhile, although Rihanna has been very successful in her business career outside of music, fans have repeatedly called on the singer to return to the studio and release more hits.
