Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez has described what she calls the “worst moment of my life”
The long-time girlfriend of the football star said that she suffered great heartache following the loss of her infant son.
She revealed her sadness in the second season of her Netflix show ‘I am Georgina.’
The 28-year-old said: “Life has gifted me so much in such a short space of time. This year I’ve experienced the best and the worst moment of my life in an instant.
“A big piece of my heart shattered and I asked myself how I could carry on. I had the answer nearer than I thought. I looked into the eyes of my children and there I saw the only way of doing it, being all together.”
The model has said little about the death of one of her twins during childbirth since she and Ronaldo announced their loss on April 18.
Rodríguez and Ronaldo have been together since 2016.

The two met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Rodríguez was working as a shop assistant.

Ronaldo, in April, revealed via his Twitter account in a statement signed by him and Rodriquez that they had welcomed twins but lost one of the children, a boy.
He wrote, “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. It is the greatest pain that any parents can feel,”
“Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness. We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support.
“We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time.”
