Sanwo-Olu, Obasa felicitate with Orelope-Adefulire @ 65

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, have felicitated with the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, on her 65th birthday.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, described Orelope-Adefulire, the former Deputy Governor of Lagos, who clocks 65 Sunday, Sunday, as an Amazon and worthy Ambassador of Lagos State.

He said Princess Orelope-Adefulire has displayed exemplary leadership and compassion through as public official especially as former Deputy Governor and now as the Special Adviser to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by touching lives through several projects initiated by her office.

Governor Sanwo-Olu also commended Princess Orelope-Adefulire’s contributions to the growth and development of Lagos State in different capacities.

He said: “On behalf of my family and the good people and government of Lagos State, as well as members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) and the leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), I celebrate the Special Adviser to the President on Sustainable Development Goals, Princes Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, on her 65th birthday.

“Princess Orelope-Adefulire is a good ambassador of Lagos, and she is worth celebrating for her contribution at the state and national levels. She is an Amazon and kind-hearted woman who has made a positive impact in the lives of millions of people.

“As Princess Orelope-Adefulire clocks 65 today, I pray that God will give her good health and strength as he continues to render more service to humanity, Lagos State, and Nigeria.”

On his part, Obasa, in a statement by his media office, described Orelope-Adefulire as a shining star who continues to make Lagos proud years after serving the State as Deputy Governor.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Eromosele Ebhomele, Speaker Obasa said Princess Orelope-Adefulire’s leadership style, commitment to service and dedication to whatever responsibilities placed before her had consistently marked her out as one to be celebrated.

 

“As the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), our former Deputy Governor is known to have initiated and implemented many strategic intervention programmes that have assisted in the growth and progress of Nigeria,” the Speaker said.
