Aside razing shuttle buses used for transporting school students in the Okitipupa area of Ondo State on Friday, hoodlums also destroyed major government and private properties in the state.
An eyewitness told franktalknow.com that the state independent electoral office was razed as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Others are the Nigeria police division offices and residential apartments, police area command, Nigeria Correctional Service, the NSDDC office at Oke Oyinbo, Cash office at Oke Oyinbo, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Office, Board of Internal Revenue Building, a building to one Mr Ife Oyedele and the entire court complex.
Also destroyed is the entire local government secretariat complex on Erinje Road, the Nigeria Police station at Ode Aye.
Countless number of cars, tractor, caterpillar, furniture, air conditioners, office equipment, documents & records, household equipment, computers, medical equipment, kitchen equipment and too many more were also reportedly destroyed.

“A proper war could not have been that destructive and ruinous. It is a huge calamity. Except there are miracles, it will take decades to recover,” the eyewitness said.

Hoodlums had on Friday, razed shuttle buses used for transporting school students in the Okitipupa area of Ondo State.
This was in spite of the 24-hour curfew imposed on the state by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
The free shuttle buses, provided by the government, were said to have been packed within the premises of the Okitipupa local government secretariat before the attack.
Security operatives have been deployed to the area to restore normalcy.
