Vice President Kashim Shettima has praised President Bola Tinubu’s leadership and vision for Nigeria, saying that his house in Maiduguri is better than Tinubu’s house in Bourdillon, Lagos.
Shettima made the comments at a book launch in Abuja, where he called on Nigerians to rally around Tinubu as he works to address the country’s challenges.
“In President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we have a leader that we can invest our trust in. I’m not playing politics, I’m speaking from the heart. I have seen the soul of Bola Tinubu, and he has a good soul,” Shettima said.
He noted that Tinubu’s leadership has taken bold steps to address the country’s economic and security challenges.
“The President had the courage, the political courage, and the willpower to take far-reaching decisions, and it always comes at a price,” Shettima said.

Shettima also expressed concern over the years of neglect in basic education across northern Nigeria and the troubling involvement of underage children in recent nationwide governance protests.
