The Universal Basic Education Board has opened a portal for interested candidates to apply for the Federal teacher Recruitments, 2020.
The Board advised candidates who are eligible to fulfil the following conditions to apply via the FTS Recruitment Portal. Applicants are to fill the application form on the portal.
To be eligible, candidates:
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education or Bachelor degree with Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), of not lower than Second Class (Lower Division) and not earned earlier than 2014.
- Must have completed or been exempted from the NYSC Scheme
- Must possess a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with credit passes in Teaching Practice and the Teaching Subjects. The NCE certificate should only be those awarded after the year 2013 (that is, 2014 and above)
- Must possess specialisation in any of the following subjects: Mathematics, English, Integrated Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, Agricultural Science, Home Economics, Computer Science/Information Technology, Technical/Technology Education, Nigerian Languages, Physical and Health Education
- Must not be more than 35 years of age
