The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has urged the public to submit any evidence related to allegations of homosexuality against its pastors for further investigation.
This call follows the suspension of two youth ministers due to serious misconduct allegations.
In a memo dated October 28, 2024, signed by Sunday Akande, the national overseer, the church announced that the suspension will remain in effect until the investigations are completed.
The memo reiterated the church’s stance against homosexuality, referencing biblical principles as the foundation of its doctrine.
Akande’s statement emphasized the importance of accountability within the church, inviting individuals with relevant information to come forward.
The church provided an email (rccgadm@gmail.com) and phone number (09039000700) for submissions, stating that only verified evidence will be considered.

One of the suspended pastors, Ayorinde AdeBello, has publicly denied the allegations, asserting that he has never engaged in any homosexual acts.
He clarified that his previous silence was misinterpreted as an admission of guilt. AdeBello also addressed a viral WhatsApp conversation, claiming it was taken out of context and pertained to discussions about male reproductive health and self-esteem among teenagers.
