The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the most sought after ten universities in the 2020/2020 UTME exam and the numbers of students that gained admission into these various institutions.
This was announced at the policy meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

The table below is the breakdown of the application statistics, showing the top universities judging by how many candidates picked them and how many gained admission.
The University of Ilorin, Kwara State had 72,869 applications and 13,634 gained admissions making it the University that was mostly picked in Nigeria in 2020.
