Lagos State has the highest number of medical doctors, as per data available on the official website of the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
The report revealed that the state has 7,385 medical doctors, while the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, followed with 4,453 doctors.
Rivers State is third on the list with 2,194 medical personnel.
