A truck carrying a heavy load has toppled over on Otedola Bridge in Ojodu Berger, Lagos State, causing a major traffic jam on the busy road.
The incident occurred on Tuesday and has resulted in congestion on the route towards Lagos/Ibadan Expressway and Ojodu Berger due to flooding on the bridge.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has confirmed that they are working to remove the truck from the road. In a post on X, LASTMA stated, “There has been a fatal accident involving an overturned truck carrying wheat on Otedola Bridge in Ojodu Berger.
Traffic is moving slowly due to the flooded section of the bridge. We are making efforts to recover the contents of the truck and clear the road.”
