Inter Milan have told Chelsea they want to keep their striker Lautaro Martinez further in Milan and do not want to sell.

Inter Milan’s vice-president Javier Zanetti, who addressed the issue after their victory against neighbours, AC Milan in the semi-final of the Champions League on Tuesday, insisted the club has no plans to sell Chelsea target Martinez.

The 2022 World Cup winner scored in the second half to seal Inter’s 1-0 win over AC Milan at the San Siro.

Chelsea’s incoming manager, Mauricio Pochettino is said to be keen on bringing the Argentinian to Stamford Bridge as his main striker and wants the club to sign him this summer.
