UNILAG Hosts Former Tony Blair Aide, Others

As part of efforts to reposition for global relevance and impact in the face of COVID-19 pandemic disruptions, the University of Lagos will be hosting Ms Cat Tully, former Advisor, Policy and Strategy to Mr Tony Blair and Mr Gordon Brown, former British Prime Ministers.

Ms Tully, Founder School of International Futures, United Kingdom will be joined by Ms Wendy Alexander former Minister for Further and Higher Education, Scotland and Scottish Labour Leader in the Scottish Parliament and now Head of Internationalisation, Dundee University and Professor Hester Klopper, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Strategy and Internationalisation, Stellenbosch University, South Africa.

The globally renowned personalities will be discussing topics such as Using Futures Thinking to Reposition for Relevance, Strategic Initiatives and Internationalisation and Building a Global Community of Shared Future.

The webinar planned for members of the university management, Deans, HODs and Directors is part of the measures put in place by the Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe led management to reposition the University of Lagos for global impact in the age of COVID-19 pandemic disruptions.

The event which comes up on Friday,  January 22, has Professor Folasade Ogunsola, Deputy Vive Chancellor Development Services as the Host and Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, the Vice Chancellor as the Chief Host.
