UNILAG Launches Investigation into Student’s Deplorable Living Conditions

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) management has initiated an investigation into the subpar living conditions of a 300-level student, following disturbing images and reports that surfaced on social media.

The university expressed concern and outrage over the situation and assured the public that swift action will be taken based on the findings.

According to a statement signed by Adejoke Alaga-Ibraheem, Head of the Communication Unit, the Students’ Affairs Division and Faculty of Education management team have established contact with the student and are currently engaging with her.

The university reaffirmed its commitment to supporting students’ welfare and promised to keep the public informed of the investigation’s progress and findings.

The management appreciated the concern and support from stakeholders and vowed to take appropriate action to address the situation.
