Akogun said, “The management of the University of Ilorin viewed with grave concern last weekend’s story about one of its students, Moyosore Bright.

“It is important to state that the said student is hale and hearty, and her purported abduction was a ruse and figment of the imagination of the rumour mongers.

“The management further assures the public that its campus is safe for learning, research, and community service in pursuit of its tripartite mandate.”

The Kwara State Police Command, while confirming the abduction of a 100-level female Zoology Student of the University of Ilorin on Sunday, said that the student identified as Moyosore Bright was kidnapped while boarding a minibus at the bus terminus of the institution last Friday.
