Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, has apologised to Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.
The youth leader had earlier alleged that the Ooni and some other Yoruba leaders were Fulani slaves.
However, in a video on Wednesday night, Igboho said the abuse on the Ooni was a slip of the tongue.
He said all Yoruba leaders should work for the liberation of the tribe, adding that he was only interested in Yoruba liberation.
