In a Twitter post posted on Monday, Lauretta Onochie an aide to the president commented on the appointment of the new service chiefs saying:
There are over 250 ethnic groups in Nigeria and only 4 Service Chiefs are allowed by the constitution.
So Mr. President nominated 2 from the North,
2 from the South,
2 Christians and
2 Muslims.
