Nollywood actress, Nancy Isime, has revealed that she never dreamed about marriage as a young girl, unlike her peers who saw it as a poverty alleviation scheme.
In a recent interview on ‘Creativity Live with Lynda’, Isime shared her thoughts on marriage and her focus on her craft. “When young girls used to sit down and dream about getting married, I never did. I used to dream of working and making money. I can spend on myself so much that another person cannot take the position of if it’s not me, you won’t have this life,” she said.
Isime expressed her commitment to her work and her desire to be financially independent. “I’m actually scared of the limelight. But I always think about working and making my own money,” she added.
