The 29-year-old commercial driver further explained that after driving for some miles, he came across a Police Checkpoint and reported to the officers on duty that he had hit someone. Salem’s body was found on Thursday, November 11th, 29 days after he went missing.

Tordue, an indigene of Benue State, Salem coverered the House of Representatives for Vanguard newspaper, and his disappearance had sparked protests and agitations by the Nigerian Union of Journalists in Abuja.
