The Olu of Ilaro, Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, Asade Agunloye IV, has said over the decade bringing the people of Yewa land together in unity has been his greatest achievement.
Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle made this disclosure in an interview with our correspondents, Musa Adekunle and Sodiq Adelakun.

He said the formal inauguration of Yewa People Development Council has been his vision since he was enthroned, that the people of Yewa should have a common body that would manage, control and articulate most of the development initiatives that are emanating from the communities in Yewa land.
He added that over the decade, it was last year that the inauguration yielded into a successful one.
In the same vein, The Olori of Oba Olugbenle added that life in the palace can be best described as a challenging one and on numerous occasions, the king fondly calls her “The Engine Room”.
Olori further stated that her opinion has always been a positive one about the contribution of Yewa land.
However, the paramount ruler commended the efforts of the state government towards their support for the development of Yewa land.
