Former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has spoken on his recent appointment as Deputy Chairman of the Southwest subcommittee of the Contact and Strategy Committee of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Akinwunmi revealed that he was appointed to help deepen and consolidate the gains of the party in the region, prepare it as a strong and viable institution for the present and foreseeable future. He revealed this on his verified Twitter handle.
Akinwunmi Ambode was the former Governor of Lagos State, He was a civil servant for 27 years and a financial consultant before running for public office as Governor of Lagos State in 2015.
