Charles Soludo, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate in the Anambra election, has made his first comment as results trickle in.
Soludo is coasting to victory, leading in many Local Government Areas (LGAs), and already floored his opponents in their domain.
He polled 9,136 votes in Aguata LGA to defeat Andy Uba – All Progressives Congress (APC), and Valentine Ozigbo – People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

Uba secured 4,773 votes; Ozigbo got 3,798 votes. The three main candidates in the governorship poll are from Aguata.
Sunday evening, Soludo made a post on Instagram with a photo of him monitoring results.
“A cool Sunday evening. It is indeed the Lord’s day and we must first thank God almighty for his mercy.
“Indeed, ‘many are the afflictions of the Righteous, but the Lord delivereth him from them all’. Good evening my people”, the former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor wrote.
