#AnambraDecides2021: Voting commences in Akwa South LGA, as machine malfunctions elsewhere

Voting has now commenced in Anambra State, especially in Akwa South Local Government Area.
At polling unit, PUs 07, 08, Ward 5, Agulu, Umuogbo, Awka South is progressing with voting.
Meanwhile, in another part of the State, an Adhoc staff (corp members) narrated their ordeal on how the voting machine has refused to work and low turnout.
At 10:20AM in PU 2, CPS, Odekpe, Ogbaru Local Government Area,INEC officials just arrived and police officials can be seen arguing about the delay.
It was gathered that they have not been paid yet and also, there were inadequate buses to convey the sensitive materials.

As a result, they had to drop them off PU by PU before getting to this place. Some INEC officials are still in the bus waiting to be conveyed to their own PUs.
Also, at 9:45AM in Nnewi North Local Government Area, Ward: Nnewichi ward 2. PU: 004, there is an arrival of INEC officials with security personnel.
Furthermore, at 10:04AM Idemili South Local Government Area, Ward: Aguma Umuoji, PU: 009 and 010, INEC officials addressing people on how to cast they votes.
Voting has also commenced at Ward 19, Polling unit 008, Ezinifite village hall, Okpuno, Awka South LGA.
