Cote d’Ivoire have emerged champions of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) following a comeback victory vs Nigeria on Sunday night.
Nigeria drew first blood in the 38th minute through a Troost-Ekong curling header.
However, the Elephants came from behind to win the entire competition within 90 minutes.

Frank Kessie scored from Andigra’s far post corner cross in the 62nd minute.
Sebastian Haller, who was on the scoresheet in the semi final vs DR Congo, finished the turnaround with a cute finish from close range in the 81st minute.
