Frank Talk Now brings to you candidates who lost in their local Government areas and those who won in theirs.

According to Daily Post, the Independent Electoral Commission has announced the results of 11 Local Government Areas in the ongoing Anambra governorship election.

However, Frank Talk Now will be looking at the number of candidates who have reportedly lost in their LGA so far and those who won in theirs.

Prof Charles Soludo

Soludo is being considered as the leading candidate in the results gotten so far in the governorship election. He won in his local government, Aguata with 9,136 votes.

Dr Godwin Maduka

Dr Godwin Maduka who is the flag bearer of Accord party in the ongoing election lost his local government area, Orumba South. He lost in his Local Government Area with 779 votes as Soludo champions over him with 4,394 votes in his local government.

Senator Ifeanyi Ubah

The candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), senator Ifeanyi Ubah was announced as the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, returning officer for the local government, Prof Joachim. He won in his local government with 6,485 votes

Andy Ubah

Andy Ubah, the candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) Party lost in his Local Government Area, Aguata, with a distant second position after securing 4,773 votes.

Valentine Ozigbo

Valentine Ozigbo, a PDP candidate in the ongoing governorship election in Anambra, seconded Andy Ubah with 3,798 votes. Both of them are from the same Local Government. However, they lost their Local Government to Soludo who is from the same Local Government with them.

Nevertheless, the Independent Electoral Commission are yet to conclude the Electoral process, as we continue to stay tune for the latest update.
