Femi Fani-Kayode, the former minister of aviation, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
It was learnt that the former minister is being held at the Lagos Zonal Office of the anti-graft agency under an investigation for alleged forgery and manipulation of documents.
Franktalknow had earlier reported that Fani-Kayode was facing a fresh charge of forgery and being quizzed by the EFCC.

The ex-minister had defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in September.
Wilson Uwujaren, the spokesman for the EFCC, confirmed Fani-Kayode’s arrest saying: “I think something like that happened.”
