Francisca Owumi, the first runner-up of the inaugural season of Big Brother Naija in 2006, has passed away. Her family announced her death on Instagram, stating that she died after a brief illness.
Owumi was a popular contestant on the show, known for her vibrant dance moves and engaging personality. She lived alongside other notable contestants like Katung Aduwak, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, and the late Joseph Ada.
After her time on the reality show, Owumi pursued a career in music, releasing two singles under her own record label, Cisca Entertainment. She also worked as a writer for Revista, an international magazine based in Ghana.
