Bashir El-Rufai, the son of Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai has called the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) a victory for the country. The politician’s son also called for the IPOB leader to be locked in a cell with a cow.

Earlier today, the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN), said that the Federal Government had arrested the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

Malami, while addressing journalists on Tuesday, revealed that Kanu was arrested and brought back to Nigeria on Sunday. The IPOB leader has been arraigned, with his trial date set for July 26, 2021.

El-Rufai tweeted a photo of the IPOB leader and followed with another tweet calling him a toothless bulldog.

El-Rufai then said via his Twitter, “There are those that will be upset this hooligan was arrested but will be too cowardly to express it. Victory for the country. May we all continue to progress in unison. He should be locked in a cell with a cow, please, President Buhari.”
