•Exposes Attempted Surveillance, Vows to Continue Fight Against Corruption
Human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has exposed attempts by Nigerian security agencies to track him down in his hometown in Ondo State.
Sowore, who is also the convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, made this known via his verified Facebook account on Saturday.
According to Sowore, the security agencies are desperate to frame him for bogus offences. “Yeah! All around in my hometown, they’re trying to track me down, yeah! They say they want to bring me in guilty,” he said. However, Sowore remains undeterred, vowing that “Babylon must fall! #FearlessInOctober.”
This development comes as no surprise, given Sowore’s consistent vocal criticism of government malfeasance and his advocacy for democratic principles. His #RevolutionNow movement has been at the forefront of calling out corruption and demanding accountability from those in power.
