The Ogun State Chapter of the Association of Local Government Chairmen has issued an apology to Governor Dapo Abiodun for the recent comments made by one of its members, Mr. Wale Adedayo.

Adedayo had alleged that the governor diverted the statutory Federal Allocation meant for the state’s Local Governments over the past two years.

On Tuesday, members of ALGON, led by Emilola Gazal, the chairman of Ijebu-Ode LGA, met with Governor Abiodun at his office in Oke-Mosan to express their regrets and offer their apologies.

Responding, Abiodun said, “God knows that this job I am doing it with every iota of sincerity of purpose in me. I will continue to ensure that I am guided by all the promises that I made in the course of my journey to the Governor’s office.”
