Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf has confirmed that Kano state Polytechnic has fully implemented the 50% slash in tuition fees for Kano indigenes as ordered by his government in August 2023.
This was disclosed in a post on the X handle of the governor on Friday, March 8.

It reads: “As you could recall, we slashed tuition fees for Kano indigenes by 50% in all the state-owned tertiary institutions in Kano State, as part of our palliative measures for the state.
“I’m happy to report that this has now been fully implemented at the Kano State Polytechnic, the latest of many other institutions where the measure has taken effect.”
