A bloody street brawl between suspected rival cultists yesterday resulted in the death of three persons in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
The suspected hoodlums were said to have gone on the rampage in the morning and allegedly killed three persons at Aduralere and Amilengbe in Ilorin.

But the police command confirmed the death of only two persons.
Spokesman Ajayi Okasanmi said: “Two men suspected to be cultists were hacked to death around Aduralere in Ilorin by suspected rival cultists in the wee hours of today (yesterday). Efforts are on to arrest the perpetrators of the crime. Peace has been restored.
“Police Commissioner Mohammed Bagega has directed divisional police officers (DPOs) to ensure regular patrol of the state. Law-abiding citizens are advised to go about their activities.”
