A horrifying incident unfolded yesterday as the daughter of Hon. Bukar Abacha, a Member of the Borno State House of Assembly representing Ngala, was discovered strangled to death in the Gidan Dembe area of Maiduguri.
The husband of the victim made the grim discovery when he returned home to find his wife’s lifeless body with her hands and legs bound behind her back. Their two-year-old child was found crying in the same room.

According to a source who pleaded anonymity, the Gwange Police Division swiftly responded to the situation, transporting the deceased to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for a thorough autopsy and investigation.
