The Academic Staff Union of Universities, University of Lagos chapter, has warned the Pro-Chancellor, and Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr Wale Babalakin, not to visit the institution.
This decision was reached at a recent congress of the Academic Staff Union of the institution. According to the union, “Dr Wale Babalakin is now a persona non grata on our campus. We don’t want to see him again anywhere in the university. He is no longer needed.”
The union’s position follows the suspension of the institution’s 51st convocation ceremony due to discord between the governing council and the management of the school.
