Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky, has revealed why he snubbed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after he graduated from the University.

Frank talk Now understands that Bobrisky graduated from the University of Lagos in 2016 but did not join his colleagues in serving their fatherland.

Telling his stories during a recent chat with Nigerian journalist and media entrepreneur, Chude Jideonwo, Bobrisky said his reason for putting aside the NYSC scheme was because he wanted to look for money.

According to him, UNILAG had frustrated his plan of becoming a cross-dresser while in school, so after graduation, he grabbed the opportunity to become who he had wanted to be.

Bobrisky said he planned to make money from cross-dressing for a few times and return to his normal self. He, however, said backing down can’t be possible for him now as the ‘brand’ is fetching him lots of money.

He said, “I finished from UNILAG in 2016, I was supposed to go for my NYSC but I didn’t cos I wanted to make money…UNILAG prevented me from being Bobrisky cos my course advisor was tough…after I left school, I became free to live as I wanted…

“In 2018, I bought a house in Chevron, in 2019 I thought about doing surgery but I was scared and same with 2020, and in 2021, I went for lipo and tummy surgery.
