York accepting Nigerian applications for Nursing programmes

The department of Health Sciences at the University of York has announced it is accepting applications from Nigerian students for its Nursing programmes.

The university said all its nursing programmes are accredited with the Nursing and Midwifery Councils, the professional regulatory body for nurses and midwives in UK.

Available courses include three-year courses, BSc Nursing (Adult), BSc Nursing (Child) and BSc Nursing (Mental Health).

The university also has four-year Integrated Masters, MNurs Nursing (Adult), MNurs Nursing (Child) and MNurs Nursing (Mental Health).

Since the degree comes with accreditation, getting a job in the stay back period is guaranteed, which could eventually yield permanent residency.
