The men- Nasiru Isyaku,48, and Lawal Uba,31, who both live at Kofar Dan’agundi Quarters Kano, were arrested by police and charged with criminal conspiracy, unnatural offence and constituting public nuisance.
Prosecution Counsel Asma’u Ado told the court that Isyaku and Uba committed the offence on July 15.
She said it happened at about 5:00 p.m when the two men deceived and lured the 20-year-old man into a room in Kofar Dan’agundi Quarters Kano and had forced anal sex with him.
Ms Ado told the court the offence contravened Sections 97, 284 and 196 of the Penal Code.
The defendants, however, denied committing the offence, and their counsel, Abubakar Isa, asked the court to admit them to bail, saying his clients would not jump bail.
Chief Magistrate Mustapha Sa’ad Datti adjourned the matter until September 15 to rule on their bail application.
