The Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede has lauded the National Agency for Science Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) for the supply and installation of the two models of Disinfectant Sprayer Tunnels, ‘O’ and ‘N’ and the Pedal Operated Hand washing Stations.
He spoke during the official inauguration of the Sprayers and the Pedal Operated Hand Washing Stations at the high-end capacity Disinfectant Sprayer Tunnel ‘O’ installed at the main entrance to the reception of the Board’s National Headquarters, Bwari.

While expressing satisfaction at the performance of these locally-manufactured disinfectant sprayers, the Registrar said that at the initial stage of negotiation for the installation of the equipment, there were some disagreements between the NASENI technical team and that of the Board.
Oloyede explained that the disagreement had been for the best as the outcome was not only commendable but worthwhile. He commended NASENI for taking into cognizance all the observations raised by the Board at the various interactive meetings prior to the installation.
He said that the machine would complement the sprayers in curbing the spread of COVID 19.

In his remarks, the Executive Vice Chairman, NASENI, Prof. Mohammad Haruna, thanked the Registrar for his patriotism as exhibited by his patronage of the products developed by the Agency especially at a period when many Nigerians are fixated on foreign-made products.
He assured the Registrar that the pieces of equipment would meet all the specifications agreed upon in terms of aesthetics, added features and durability especially with respect to the Disinfectant Sprayer Tunnel ‘O’, adding that subsequent production of the device would be configured to automatically gauge body temperature of users as well as disinfecting them.
